Location: the hotel was near to Mall. Found a place called Pappilon Restaurant, set very close to the venue, ate there a few times. The breakfast we ordered was varied and large with scones, bacons plus a steaming bowl...

The location was good there, in the center of darjeeling everywhere you have walking distance.

The room was super clean with a great view of the town. The heritage look and teak furniture gave it a unique charm. The staff were friendly and always ready to help.

The food was uninspiring and dull. The dinner service was a bit disorganized as the restaurant filled up.

The location was good there, high in the hills. Besides, we were so close to the main mall area, Mall and chowrasta, and the lounge, restaurant.

Brand-new a double room and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Truly enjoyed the elegant bathroom. It was in a favourable location next stop would be The Elgin Norkhill in Gangtok. The service here was courteous.

This hotel is a hidden gem, with its old colonial feel and great views. The staff were polite and attentive, and the rooms were well-furnished with bathtubs. The breakfast included in our deal added to the overall value.

Magnificent and wonderful location for Darjeeling, next to the Centre as well as the hill with a 2-3 minutes distance from the Chowrasta/ Mall Road. Rich and large breakfast, with a wide array of food.

I was amazed by the colonial charm of Elgin in Darjeeling. The property truly transported me back to the British Raj era. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. They even provided specialized baby food for my infants. The location of the hotel was perfect, and the rooms were very comfortable. I highly recommend staying at Elgin.

The rooms were spacious with modern amenities. The staff was polite, welcoming, cordial and helpful. The delicious food offered at the hotel was an advantage that I enjoyed.

Maintenance of the hotel was poor and not value for money. Limited breakfast options with repetition of food items, and dinner and lunch menus were also very limited and costly.

Nothing that I didn't like.

Over Easter, we had a lovely stay at a charming hotel with stunning views of the Himalayas. We enjoyed two complimentary facials at the spa, which were wonderful. The location was ideal for exploring the nearby sights and the peaceful atmosphere made for a truly relaxing holiday.
